• Difference between Quartz & Automatic
  When choosing your ideal watch, you will come across the term "quartz" and "automatic.":
  
  Quartz Watches are powered by a Battery that sends electricity through a tiny quartz crystal, which vibrates to move the watch hands. Quartz watches are very accurate and usually only lose or gain a few seconds per year. Additionally, they require no maintenance
  
  Automatic Watchesalso known as mechanical, are not battery powered, they wind themselves using the natural motion of your wrist. This movement is more appreciated for its craftsmanship and mechanical complexity, being a collector's item. If the watch is not worn regularly, it may stop after its 42 hour power reserve runs out and you will need to wind it again and set the time until you start moving the watch again.
